Richard Dale Huntwork, age 60, of Pickerington, died suddenly on Friday, August 7, 2009, as the result of a tragic construction accident. He was enjoying what he loved to do, work.

Dick was a 1967 graduate of Pickerington High School and played on the first football team at PHS. He served in the U.S. Army Ohio National Guard , was a member of Dave Johnson American Legion Post #283, Baltimore VFW Post #3761 and the Pickerington Moose. Dick retired from Pfizer Drugs. He was the Chairman of the Board of the ” Huntwork-Wooley Shack”. Dick was a loving son, brother, husband and father. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Dick is survived by his loving wife, Anne (Gunther) Huntwork; son, Dick; and daughter, Brooke (Matthew) Schrader; mother and father, Dale and Betty Huntwork; brother, Mark (Carla) Huntwork; and sister, Loraine (Timothy) Stump; and many loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Brooks and Bessie Huntwork and Floyd and Floris Roshon.
