Robert A. Schnee, beloved husband of 56 years to Sylvia (nee Long) Schnee, son of the late Elmer and Luella Schnee, devoted father of Robert Schnee II, Kimberly LaCasse (Kevin), Jennifer Powers (Chris) and Kathleen Kline (Bruce), adored grandfather of Justin, Kyle, Alena, Molly, Emily, Matthew, Lauren, Cameron and Carter, loving brother of Marion Davis, Betty Lacey and the late Ruth Uecker. Passed away, surrounded by his family, on Friday, August 28th at the age of 77.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2nd, from 5-8PM at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd. (45236) Kenwood. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, September 3rd at 11AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 7754 Montgomery Rd. (45236). Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Bob graduated from St. Xavier High School in 1955 and from the Xavier University in 1959. He then served as a helicopter pilot in the US Army from 1960-1964, followed by service in the Ohio National Guard from 1964-1993. He was a dedicated employee and worked as an insurance adjuster at Amica Mutual Insurance Company for over 30 years. Bob was a member of St. Vincent Ferrer Parish where he volunteered on many committees and was a member of the Men’s Club. He was also a member of the Cincinnati Claims Association where he served a term as president.

Bob was loved by all who knew him, due to his kind heart and giving ways. He enjoyed travelling and spent many years going to Hilton Head Island and Puerto Vallarta Mexico. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed working out and spending time with his family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in remembrance of Bob may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 264 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN (38105), St. Xavier High School, 600 W. North Bend Rd (45224), or Hospice of Cincinnati, PO Box 633597 (45263-3597).
