He was surrounded by family after battling cancer. Born in Cambridge, Ohio and later raised near Kirkersville. While passionately serving the Ohio National Guard as Chief Warrant Officer, David\u2019s career was an air medical service helicopter pilot across the Midwest. He dedicated his life to being someone you knew you could count on. Nicknamed the Rhino, outside flying he treasured all things cars, tractors and trains. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert E. &amp; Mary E. (Mallette) Turner and sister Diana Lynn Runkle. He is survived by his daughter Gretchen K. Filmore and sister Lana Marie Turner and many more family, friends and loved ones. David will be greatly missed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 8 at 1:00pm with visitation beginning one hour before at Pfeifer-Woodyard Funeral Home 7915 E. Main St. Reynoldsburg. Interment with full military honors to follow service at Glen Rest Memorial Estates. Refreshments will be served at the VFW 1420 S. Waggoner concluding all services.
