William David Ackison Obituary
 
Ackison William David Ackison, age 71, passed away on April 22, 2014. William retired from Ohio Bell after 28 years of service. He was a graduate from Rock Hill H.S. in Ironton, OH. He held both ATP and Helicopter Pilot Certificates. He served 2 years of active duty in the U.S. Navy, 18 years in the Naval Reserves and 12 years until retired as a CWII with the Ohio Army National Guard. He is preceded in death by his parents William E. and Mary Catherine Ackison, his brother John Ackison and sister Susan Sweeney. Survived by his loving wife, Katherine of 29 years marriage; and his six children: daughters, Denise (Jeff) Childers, Cynthia (Willie) Costello, son, Richard (Melissa) Ackison, daughter, Deborah Ackison, son, Damon (Keri) Ackison. daughter, Deanna (Jason) Craiglow; and step-son, Daniel Zborovsky; grandchildren, Eric, Stacey, Nicholas, Nathan, Royce, Zachary, Tyler, Samuel, Joshua, Pierre, Phillip, Victoria, Gabrielle, and Madison; step grandchildren, Ally and Kyle, great grandsons, Jayden and Mayson; brothers-in-law, Gary R. (Sally) Harding and Stanley R. (Kathy) Harding. Also he is leaving behind two of his most faithful dogs, Aggie and Poppie. He was a 32nd degree Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Mason, Valley of Cincinnati, member of Grove City Masonic Lodge No. 689 and member of the Grove City Chapter No. 502 O.E.S. He also was a member at Highland Baptist Church. Family will receive friends at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, OH from 10 a.m.-12Noon and 2-4 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014 with a Masonic Service at 12Noon. Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. with Pastor David Thomas officiating. Inurnment in Wheelersburg, Ohio at a later date. Dreiman, Richard J. age 72, Born April 16, 1942, passed away on December 25, 2014. Buried at Arlington National Cemetery, Section 55, site 2857

Dick was born in Riga, Latvia in 1942. He was a war refugee in an internment camp in Germany where he attended first and second grade. His dad found his mom and him in the camp after being separated for three years.  A church in Canal Winchester Ohio sponsored his family's immigration to the USA in 1949.  He spoke no English so they set him back a year to first grade.  He put himself through OSU by working for Corna Construction and completed ROTC. Upon graduating from OSU he completed flight school and served as a Cobra pilot in Viet Nam where he was assigned to D Troop 3/4 CAV (Air) 1969-70.  While serving in Viet Nam, Dick was run over by a 2 &1/2 ton truck while in a bivouac area.  Dick spent more than a year in hospitals recuperating from the accident. While In the Ohio National Guard, Colonel Dreiman served as US Property and Fiscal Officer and as the Assistant Quartermaster General.
